I worked for 28 years as a scientist at the National Institutes of Health. I have always been interested in photography but only took it up as a serious hobby after I retired.
I enjoy taking all types of pictures but I am particularly fascinated by Nature macro photography because it allows us to produce images that show details that are difficult or impossible to see with the naked eye – so we can show the viewer things that they may never have seen or appreciated before.
My images have been included in regional and national exhibitions including our own Nature Visions Expo.
