Our Last Workshop
TITLE: Using the Principles of Design to Create More Dramatic Images
SPEAKER: Jennifer King, Photographer, Instructor and Wildlife Whisperer
This program was a study in how the principles of design apply to photography. Jennifer gave an excellent workshop and we all learned a lot. Below is a synopsis of her workshop.
Design principles have long been used by artists and photographers for composition. How these fundamental principles are rooted in visual design and why they work can help us to recognize the impact they have on our images.
Understanding where these basic principles can influence our photography will help us take steps to improve our creativity behind the camera.
With over 20 years in the photo industry, and a lifetime of passion for teaching, Jennifer brings a unique perspective to the art of photography.
